"Otta" is a collection of towel handkerchiefs with fun combinations of colors and patterns. And because it is folded in two with a crease in the center, it can be folded and put in a bag or pocket or hung on a towel bar.
It can be folded and put in a bag or pocket without being bulky, making it smart and functional. This half-size towel handkerchief is perfect for wiping hands, removing makeup, and/or washing.
It absorbs sweat and moisture well and is soft to the touch.
What is "half towel handkerchief"?
Towel handkerchiefs have excellent absorbency, but are inevitably bulky when folded.
We have made the towel handkerchief half the size (25cm x 12.5cm), which used to be a square handkerchief, and folded it into a double-fold structure with a folded center.
The folded structure with a crease in the center makes the towel handkerchiefs less bulky even when folded.
Tanaka Sangyo's half-towel handkerchiefs are not bulky even when folded.
The design was officially registered by the Japan Patent Office in 2012.
